"ROOTS"
Art Direction
For Black History Month, we curated an exhibition that depicted the history of black excellence and the forgotten past.
To create a strong visual impact, several graphics and font styles were incorporated to portray the message of 'back to your roots'. The campaign heavily features a lady's 4C hair, which is a symbol of black culture, as well as a chain-like depiction on the wordmark and a closed fist on the brink of the comb involved.
This campaign aims to create a sense of pride and remembrance for black history while highlighting the beauty of black culture. The 'Roots' exhibition campaign showcases my ability to create impactful visuals and my passion for promoting cultural diversity.
